The story
I'm Mindy Motta, FNP-C, co-founder of Awaiting the Stork, and for more than ten years, a nurse practitioner in obstetrics and gynecology.
My own path to motherhood wasn't a storybook. My husband, Rodrigo, and I spent six years awaiting the stork, moving through multiple fertility clinics and more quiet disappointments than I can count. And here was the hardest part: I spent my days caring for women welcoming their babies, even while I struggled to conceive my own.
