Postpartum recovery & healing

The first weeks after a vaginal birth are mostly about one thing: soothing a sore, swollen perineum and staying comfortable while it heals. This collection gathers the standard tools for exactly that, from the upside-down peri bottle and sitz baths to cooling pads, witch hazel and healing foam, plus soft disposable underwear and heavy-absorbency postpartum pads.

Your hospital hands you smaller quantities of the basics for free. These are the nicer versions you'll actually want to keep using at home once that supply runs out, which is where most of the healing happens. If you had a C-section, several of the perineal items matter less to you, so pick what fits your recovery.
